As a trusted local conservative Mayor, Jim created good jobs, strengthened our schools, built the infrastructure we need, and responsibly managed our rapid growth—all while keeping our property taxes among the lowest in the County. Jim is an American success story. He grew up poor, and being the oldest of six kids he learned skills to help others. At the age of 14, Jim began working to help support his family and was the first in his family to go to college.  Jim then went on to have a successful business career with Verizon, leading teams across the nation where he developed skills to manage, collaborate, and build relationships to achieve common goals. Jim and his wife, Wynette, an elementary school principal, attend Woodland Heights Baptist, where Jim teaches Sunday School. We can trust Jim to keep this seat Republican and fight hard for our families.
